A good soul tells that in the extreme state of
concentration, it seems that some snake like thing crawls up the spine. This
sensation is scary. Is it normal? The soul, on its journey, is a level 2 Reiki
practitioner.
My humble opinion is it is normal. Some people refuse to
accept it and say that its all mind’s tricks but if we believe that then everything
is mind’s trick or illusion, as Hindus say. Extreme concentration forces us to
take notice of things that we normally ignore. Once we are at peace and still
in every sense of word, we can hear our heart beat or blood rushing through in
our ears. When experienced for the first time, it is unbelievable.
Yours truly also felt a mouse jumping from the Root Chakra when initiated in Reiki ,was scared to death, committed the mistake of not talking to anyone about it and left the practice.
NEVER LEAVE THE PRACTICE.
I think that the devils which are talked of in our mythology are the negative emotions only. They stop us from achieving our higher status.
The only thing you can do is ask for help from higher souls, your archangels, Guru or isht devta (minor deity) and keep faith in the white light of Universe.
